PONTOONS - HYPALON TECHNOLOGY

Stingray Marine takes pride in constructing all our RIBs with Hypalon pontoons, a choice that underscores our commitment to quality and performance. Hypalon, a superior synthetic rubber material, is the preferred option for discerning manufacturers and boating enthusiasts globally. Its remarkable resilience against the harshest elements – from the intense Australian UV rays to abrasive sea conditions – sets it apart from traditional PVC. Hypalon's robustness against environmental stressors, combined with its extraordinary resistance to abrasions and chemicals, positions it as the unmatched material for inflatable boats and marine equipment designed to endure.

For both the leisure sailor and the professional mariner, Hypalon doesn’t just offer a boat; it offers a promise – a promise of enduring durability, unwavering reliability, and consistent performance. With Hypalon, you're not just purchasing a boat; you're investing in an asset that's built to last.

Durability & Bonding

Bonded using specialised glue which is not heat re-activated, meaning Hypalon bonded RIBS can withstand extreme heat and cold which traditionally heat-bonded PVC cannot.

Hypalon stands at the forefront of RIB material technology, renowned for its exceptional durability. This advanced synthetic rubber withstands a wide range of temperatures and environmental conditions, making it ideal for the harsh Australian waters. Resistant to UV rays, chemicals, and abrasions, Hypalon ensures that your Stingray Marine RIB maintains its integrity and appearance for years. Choose Hypalon for a boat that endures as long as your adventures.

Flexibility & Lifespan

Remains flexible throughout temperature extremes experienced in Australia, and highly resistant to environmental stressors such as saltwater.

HYPALON boasts a lifespan of 20+ years with correct care & maintenance, much longer than traditional PVC. This material is not only tough but also inherently buoyant, offering an additional layer of safety. Hypalon's air-tight and puncture-resistant nature ensures that your boat remains stable and secure, even in challenging conditions. Trust in Hypalon to provide a reliable foundation for every voyage.

Performance & Maintenance

Opt for a boating experience that combines performance with ease of maintenance, thanks to Hypalon. This material’s non-porous surface repels water and stains, making it easy to clean and maintain. Its flexibility contributes to better on-water performance, adapting smoothly to various sea conditions. Hypalon’s resilience means less time spent on repairs and more time enjoying the water. Experience the seamless blend of high performance and low maintenance with Stingray Marine’s Hypalon-equipped RIBs.
